Celebrating businesses across the state, we were especially proud to honor Olga L. Perez, CEO & Founder of MVP Lifeguards LLC, as NYSBDC Woman Entrepreneur of the Year! 👏🏽✨

Founded in 2017, MVP Lifeguards is a Bronx-based business creating pathways to opportunity through aquatics training and workforce development. The company has trained more than 3,000 people and currently employs 50+ team members with operations in 8 NYC public schools.

🤝Through the support of the Bronx SBDC at Lehman College, Olga worked with Senior Business Advisor Dr. Patrick Saul, to navigate certification requirements and identify opportunities for business growth and government contracting.
Her story is a powerful example of what’s possible when entrepreneurship, opportunity, and the right support come together.
