Posting this to make everyone aware of the scams that are occurring in Bowie County regarding bonds:

1- a bondsman is NOT going to reach out to you in regards to getting someone out of jail unless you or the inmate has contacted us.

2- a bondsman is NOT going to claim to be in anyway affiliated with the Sheriff's Department or the jail, we will say who we are and the company that we work for.

3- a bondsman is NOT going to have you load any form of payment on a prepaid debit card.

4- a bondsman is NOT going to call you from a number showing out of state.

5- a bondsman is NOT going to claim we can bond someone out that does not even have a bond yet just because of "overcrowding" in the jail.

6- a bondsman is NOT going to claim that, for more money, we will enlist an inmate into any form of rehabilitation program or anything similar.

These are a few things that I have heard from several people that have been contacted, and there are likely several others that I have missed. Please be mindful of this happening, and have a good day 🤗
