Get pre-approved FIRST. Then go snoop through strangers’ houses all weekend. I can usually make the pre-approval part painless — and then you can house shop knowing exactly what your numbers look like.

Your mortgage lender should be professional. Nobody said she had to be normal. 😂

Between interest rates, appraisals, underwriting conditions, and approximately 900 emails a day, sometimes “Best regards” just doesn’t accurately reflect my emotional state.

So naturally, I came up with some alternative email sign-offs.

I fear this career path was inevitable. 😂

Turns out “talks too much,” asks 900 questions, loves explaining things, and can make friends with literally anyone is actually a pretty solid skill set for mortgages.

Now I just get paid to talk about interest rates, text Realtors all day, explain closing costs 14 different ways, and tell people “please do not open a new credit card” for a living. 😂🏡

Some things really do work out exactly how they’re supposed to.
