I find myself coaching youth soccer.

One of the kids at practice today was doing gymnastics afterwards and asked to show me her back handspring.

She executed perfectly.

Then asked if I could do one.

I turn 40 in a few weeks. But you bet I can do a back hand spring and when I did she ran off excited to tell her mom afterwards.

I proudly walked to the car seeing her light up at her coach doing that.

And typed this from my spot on an ice pack.
