Arizona Young Credit Union Professionals Developing Arizona’s young credit unions professionals for the future of the cooperative movement

The Arizona Young Credit Union Professionals (AZYCUP) are credit union professionals up to age 40 and are the future leaders of the credit union movement. It is a group of young credit union professionals throughout the state of Arizona who demonstrate the cooperative principles that credit unions were founded on. This is accomplished by proactively coming together to develop leadership skills; knowledge of all credit union principles, current and historical; and expand their involvement in advocacy and community development.

With 9+ years in the credit union movement, Kaeshier is a CUDE, former GAC Crasher and Mentor, and financial education leader passionate about building programs that empower others.

Filene Research Institute is an orgnanization dedicated to strengthenening organizations through cutting-edge research, incubation opportunities to test and scale solutions, advisory services to help organizations implement innovation, and hosting communities and events to connect a community of leaders to improve financial well-being.

FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!!! This event will be open to ALL credit union professionals! While AZYCUP is known for supporting Young Professionals (18-40), this event welcomes everyone, from YPs and emerging leaders to executives and credit union team members across the movement. Every one of us has impacted the movement this year, and we want to celebrate ALL of you. The more we come together, the stronger we thrive.

Quarter three has come to a close! And what better way to end it than by celebrating the impact we made this quarter! We updated our engagement program (watch out, you’ll be hearing from us soon ;) ), updated our scholarship opportunites (we can’t WAIT to share them!), and hosted our volunteer event at Delivering Dreams, where we helped provide clothing and hygiene kits for over 800 students affected by poverty in Arizona. We are so proud of you all!

Yesterday, a group of young credit union professionals volunteered at Delivering Dreams of Arizona. Together, we packed health kits for 850 kids who will receive essential care items. We also got a behind-the-scenes tour of a Delivering Dreams Bus and learned how they are making a difference in the Valley.
