⚠️ **FLASH FLOOD WARNING – SOUTHERN FREESTONE COUNTY** ⚠️
The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a **Flash Flood Warning** for southern Freestone County, including **Teague, Fairfield, Dew, Freestone, Lanely, Donie, and Cotton Gin**, until **10:45 AM today, September 3, 2026**.
Radar indicates thunderstorms are producing heavy rainfall across the area. **Up to 3.5 inches of rain has already fallen**, with **up to an additional 2 inches possible**.
Flash flooding may affect:
• Small creeks and streams
• Streets and roadways
• Low-water crossings and underpasses
• Poor drainage and low-lying areas
• Interstate 45 between mile markers 181 and 197
🚫 **DO NOT attempt to drive through flooded roadways.**
