In our small communities in north-eastern Arizona, high school sports and extra-curricular events from choirs, bands, and theater are important to our students and families. In recent years, I have been a witness to our schools raising the bar in their athletics, music, and other activities.

Not only are the sports teams successes even against much larger schools, the bands (for instance in Snowflake) have never been better. I congratulate the coaches, teachers, administrators and students in their efforts. Success on the fields and courts leads to higher propensity for success in the class rooms and in life.

Farmers is not yet doing this that I know of. But I have heard this is happening with other insurance carriers.

If you're a homeowner and notice a drone hovering around your house, don't assume it's one of the neighbors playing with a new toy. It could be your homeowners insurance company doing a little spying...
