During the pandemic construction costs inflated immensely, leaving homeowners with not enough coverage to rebuild a house in a claim.

Leaving it like this will not only have you paying a deductible, but also the difference of the reconstruction cost to the current market value. (Your mortgage company will make you do this).

I had been speaking with this sweet couple about their homeowners insurance over the phone. I got to meet them in person tonight and get to know them. Come to find out he spent a year away from his bride to serve in Vietnam. A lot of those men didn't make it back home, and those that did were not welcomed back.

I say that to say this, I and many other veterans and non veterans wear red on Fridays. Red stands for Remember Every Deployed, will you join me in wearing RED? This is important especially as we send more of our kids to Eastern Europe.

I am thankful for a job where I get to meet, help and serve great people and be in the presence of heroes.
