Join us in celebrating the appointments of Matthew Shelton as Corporate Controller and Tori Flach as Director of Financial Reporting!

Matt brings more than 27 years of accounting and financial reporting experience, including leadership in SEC reporting, bank accounting, internal controls and regulatory reporting. He oversees Midland’s accounting operations and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

Tori most recently served as an Assurance Manager with CBIZ, leading audit engagements and advising clients on financial reporting. At Midland, she oversees internal and external financial reporting. Tori holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Butler University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She also received the AICPA’s Elijah Watt Sells Award for exceptional performance on the Uniform CPA Examination.

These appointments further strengthen Midland’s accounting and financial reporting capabilities in support of the Bank’s long-term strategic objectives.
