A diabetic episode can sometimes make a person appear intoxicated, confused, or under the influence of alcohol.

Let's Talk about Diabetes, the signs and symptoms:
On Friday June 5th, I encountered a young lady that was having a diabetic episode. Her movement, eyes and speech mimic a person who may be intoxicated, but she was not. Her sugar was either very high or very low all while she was trying to drive on a very busy street during the late evening traffic rush.
As I assisted her until the police and rescuers came to take over her emergency, I saw she was trying to each some type of crackers, and another gentleman gave her candy. I was a scary site.
