Baycare reached a new multi-year agreement with Florida Blue!

But there is a caveat!

Effective today, October 1st 2025, for Florida Blue Medicare Advantage Members Baycare's Primary Care Physicians will no longer be in network for HMO and PPO plans.

Members will continue to be able to use Baycare Specialists and Hospitals.

Please keep this information in mind as you review your own and your parents' Medicare Advantage plans this year!

EDIT: Florida Blue recanted on their decision and is allowing their plan members to continue to see their PCP’s through the end of the year. But is still discontinuiing Baycare PCP’s for 2026 for all MAPD members.

The Debate over ACA expanded subsides is heating up in Congress. Subsidies are set to expire 12/31/25 snd rates will rise significantly.
Lower income will be ok although we may have to change plans around. Middle income could end up paying $50-300+ (apx) more a month and many simply won't get subsided at all anymore if over 400% of FPL.

Aetna CVS is leaving all markets

Will congress settle on a compromise? Maybe. The clock is ticking as open enrollment begins November 1.

There is no time to waste.

Are there alternatives to ACA? Not really. Short term plans might be an option but these plans are expensive in Texas often more than ACA and cover no preexisting, etc etc.

Anything else you find online is likely a scam, limited plan or something unregulated or illegal.
Do NOT fill out any forms online tons of scams, limited plans and illegal insurance being marketed. Never respond to unknown texts or emails either.

The good news is we are independent with access to all major reputable companies. No one has the same products for less per month and we charge no agency fees.

Our agency is not even paid a percentage of premium in most cases. meaning we can truly shop impartial for our clients.

Open enrollment begins November 1. There are no medical questions. No pre existing conditions.

Do NOT attempt to navigate this mess alone, every plan covers different doctors, drugs, hospitals, no consumer can possibly navigate this complex system which is literally hundreds of thousands of pages of regulations.
