Step back in time and experience one of Tarboro’s most treasured historic landmarks! 💚

Built around 1808 by prominent businessman, congressman, and Revolutionary War veteran Thomas Blount, the Blount-Bridgers House and Hobson Pittman Memorial Gallery—also known as “The Grove”—is a beautiful example of Federal-style architecture and Tarboro history.

Restored and converted into a museum in 1979, the home now celebrates the rich heritage, art, and history of our community. The beautiful, park-like grounds also feature the restored circa-1810 Silas Everette House.

Whether you’re a history lover, art enthusiast, or simply looking to explore the beauty of Tarboro, the Blount-Bridgers House is a must-see destination! 🏛️✨💚
