👉 Yesterday’s announcement about the infusion of $200B into mortgage bonds to push rates lower caused a big pop 💥 in mortgage bonds today.
👉 We saw rates in the mid to high 5’s 😅 on many of our loan products. 💃🕺🪩
For perspective, we haven’t seen bonds at this level since September 2024 (17 months ago!). There will be lots of buzz on this in the upcoming weeks.
👉Bottom line: When rates drop 📉, demand increases📈, then home values move up ⬆️… so if you’re a homebuyer still sitting on the fence, you will benefit from purchasing sooner rather than later to lock in your home price so you can benefit from future appreciation. 🏡 💰
