Out-of-state buyers are often surprised by one thing when relocating to Florida:

Room sizes.

Today I was helping relocation clients narrow down homes, and we realized something important:

Instead of only saying “the rooms feel small,” it helps to actually measure the rooms in your current home first.

Because once you know:
✔ what size bedrooms you currently live with
✔ what feels comfortable to your family
✔ what’s truly a dealbreaker

…it becomes MUCH easier to eliminate homes before spending weekends touring properties that were never going to work anyway.

This is especially important with relocation buyers because:

* square footage is used differently in Florida
* lot sizes vary
* newer homes often trade yard space for community amenities
* bonus rooms/layouts can matter more than total square footage

A house can look perfect online and still feel completely wrong in person.
