It was another busy week for our Sales team, connecting with agency partners and giving back across Florida.

Southwest Florida TSM Jessyann Useche celebrated Shepherd Insurance - Naples with their Diamond Agent Award, then hosted an agent dinner with Way Better Insurance, Insurance Specialists of SW Florida, Prestige Insurance, My Florida Insurance, HILB Group of Florida, and Zion Insurance.

Florida Space Coast TSM Rubin Sanchez joined Director of Inside Claims Glen Garhman and Field Adjuster Aimee Marquez-Llizo at the Roc Solid Foundation Ready Bag Rally, where 1,000 bags were packed for families fighting pediatric cancer. Leo is closing out his summer adventures with one final trip, and this time, he traded the Florida coastline for Colorado's snowy peaks, and a little hockey.

Field Trainer and hockey enthusiast David Hennessy brought Leo along for a hockey-filled adventure in Denver, giving our favorite travel companion one more destination to add to his summer itinerary.

From coast to coast and across the globe, we’ve loved seeing the places our employees have taken Leo this summer and getting a glimpse at their escapades outside the office.

When navigating a homeowners insurance claim for the first time, having an adjuster who takes the time to explain the process and answer your questions can make a real difference.

After a plumbing leak damaged their kitchen cabinets, these first-time homeowners worked with Adjuster Thomas Malfettone, who made himself available, inspected the damage, and helped them better understand the process.

Tomorrow marks the start of September and the peak of Atlantic hurricane season. As we enter the most active part of the season, we're also beginning to see changes in the weather pattern across the tropics.

Those changes could bring an increased threat of heavy rainfall to multiple areas across the Southeast over the next few days.

And just like that, Dolly is no longer a tropical storm.

The National Hurricane Center has issued its final advisory on Dolly, with the system now classified as an open tropical wave. In simple terms, Dolly has lost its closed circulation and is no longer organized enough to be considered a tropical cyclone.

That doesn't mean the story is completely over. The remnants are expected to continue westward, approaching the Leeward Islands Saturday night or Sunday, then Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. From there, the moisture could continue into the Greater Antilles or Bahamas early next week.

Strong wind shear and dry air are expected to keep the system disorganized over the next few days, so gradual weakening is forecast. For now, we'll be watching the remnants as they continue westward and monitor any potential activity as we approach the peak of hurricane season.
