I hope everyone is having a great summer so far. We are going into the later part of the year and many of you are receiving your policy renewals for the fall. Many policy premiums have increased for this upcoming year and I would love to explore more inexpensive options for you and your business. Many people today that use their vehicles for commercial use, have personal auto coverage. This is a huge issue, especially if that individual was to make a claim. If you use your vehicle to any of the examples below, you need Commercial Auto coverage.

-Transport goods or people for a fee in your vehicle
-Conduct a service with your vehicle
-Need higher limits of liability because of the nature of your work
-Haul a considerable weight in tools or equipment or towing a trailer used to conduct your business in your vehicle
-Employees operate the vehicle or if ownership is in the name of a corporation or partnership

This applies to realtors, trades, trucks with trailers, food delivery, commerce...etc.

The type of auto's owned and covered under a Business Auto Policy include:
-Private Passenger Auto: includes station wagons, jeeps, pickups, panel trucks, vans, and utility trailers designed to be pulled behind a private passenger auto.
-Commercial Auto: includes trucks, truck tractors, semitrailers, commercial trailers, and service trailers.
-Public Autos: buses, taxicabs, and private passenger-type autos rented to others without a driver
-Special Autos: self propelled with permanently attached equipment such as snow removal, road maintenance, street cleaning, cherry picker, and air compressors.
