Happy Closing Day to us! 🏡
Today we officially closed on what we hope will be our forever home.
It’s an exciting season for Dave and me as we begin making this house our own. At the same time, it’s bittersweet saying goodbye to my first home after almost 14 years. That house holds so many memories and was the place where so many chapters of my life unfolded.
I want to say a huge thank you to our amazing friend and Realtor, Karyn Scech, Realtor. I’ve worked alongside Karyn for several years as a mortgage broker, but getting to experience the home-buying process as her client gave me an even greater appreciation for the way she serves her clients. She was never focused on making a sale. She was focused on helping us make the right decision. She pointed out things we would have overlooked, celebrated the homes that felt right, and wasn’t afraid to tell us when one wasn’t. I always knew within seconds of walking into a home exactly how she felt about it for us. Her face never lies. 😂
Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever make, and having people you trust makes all the difference. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who helped us get here.
Now… time to finish packing. ❤️
