No, unfortunately this doesn’t mean rates will get lower by a quarter of a percent 😮

Here’s how my simple brain understands the economics of the situation:

When investors anticipate Fed cuts/good rates they tend to put more money in the market. They want a return on their investment. (You know the whole buy low sell high).

So since this was already anticipated we didn’t expect much of a change today!

BUT rates are still great considering. I’ve been refinancing almost every single one of my clients from the past couple years and saved someone $900 a month on their mortgage!

More people than ever are qualifying!

Get out there and buy before the market gets flooded and you’re competing with 3 people and overbidding on a house 🏠

This lender is basically buying down your rate for free. On a loan I just quoted that was almost $5k in points 🤑

This could save you hundreds a month! We don’t expect rates to drop this much after the Fed cut so if you don’t take advantage you are going to regret it! 😭
