Young children should always have a trusted adult along for the fun, while older kids going out without an adult should stick together, follow a planned route, and have a set time to be home.

A little supervision and planning help keep Halloween focused on what matters most: costumes, candy, and great memories! 🍬

After my shift at the food bank, I completed my annual drop of 25 birthday cake kits to the Ravenna Center of Hope! (twenty five kits because Hayden is Forever 25) Each kit includes cake mix, frosting, candles, balloons, soda, and the instructions in Hayden’s memory. 🎂🩵

Prior to my son Hayden’s passing, he was a regular volunteer at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. As a way to honor his memory and maintain his legacy, I chose to pick up shifts every year on his birthday!

This morning I worked in the re-pack area. There were about 20 volunteers on my shift today and together we boxed over 8200 lbs of bread!!! 🍞💙

Please also be aware that while putting them in costumes is fun for us, it's sometimes stressful and dangerous for them. And watch out for any Halloween décor your pet could get ahold of and swallow.
