We recently presented the donation from First Commerce Credit Union's Liz Nix Fundraiser for Animal Rescue to Hearts To Homes Humane Society Inc. in Nashville, GA, where the fundraiser began in honor of longtime animal advocate Liz Nix.

Liz's son, Rodney Nix, joined us alongside the Hearts to Homes team for a special moment of connection and gratitude, highlighting the impact this fundraiser continues to make.

Hearts to Homes is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need, and we're incredibly grateful for all they do to help create stronger, healthier communities for pets and the people who love them. ❤️🐾

Our distribution of funds from First Commerce Credit Union's Liz Nix Fundraiser for Animal Rescue continued yesterday with the incredible team at Leon County Humane Society! 🐾

More than 1,000 animals arrive at Leon County Humane Society each year, and helping pets find loving forever homes is just one of the many ways they make a difference in our community.

Every day, their team lives out its mission to "Rescue, Rehabilitate & Educate: Fostering a Kinder Community for People and Their Pets."

We're grateful for all you do to give animals a second chance and support the people who love them.

We had some cool cats in our Thomasville Road location yesterday, and we had the pleasure of presenting It's Meow Or Never , Inc. with a check for over $1,000 as part of First Commerce Credit Union’s Liz Nix Fundraiser for Animal Rescue!

It's Meow or Never combats feline overpopulation and lowers euthanasia rates through essential services like Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return, community pet vaccination events, and education.

Thanks for all you do, It's Meow or Never! We're proud to continue recognizing our Liz Nix Fundraiser for Animal Rescue partners with check presentations like this one. Stay tuned as we share more stories of community impact in the weeks ahead!

Today, First Commerce Credit Union proudly presented a check to Thomasville Humane from our Liz Nix Fundraiser for Animal Rescue! 🐾

We were thrilled to meet Suri and Penelope, two of the sweet pups who benefit from the lifesaving care and essential services Thomasville Humane provides to animals in need.

Through the Liz Nix Fundraiser for Animal Rescue, we help raise funds for humane societies across North Florida and South Georgia, supporting organizations that work every day to give animals a second chance.

This is just one of several check presentations we'll be making to our Liz Nix Fundraiser partners in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more heartwarming stories and community impact!

Today's Jumpstart 2 Success event may have wrapped up, but the school year is just around the corner for these incredible students. We're wishing each of them a successful year ahead!

As a truly local credit union, supporting events like this is what community commitment is all about. We're proud to sponsor Jumpstart 2 Success and invest in the future of the families we serve right here at home.

A big thank you to Whole Child Leon for organizing such a meaningful event! 🎒📚🍎
