The Florida A&M University Federal Credit Union takes pride in its field of membership. Our membership consists of many people who care about their credit union. The members are the credit union and "members helping members" is what we are all about. This credit union was formed in 1935 with the sole purpose of providing financial services to the employees of Florida A&M University. Today, we have

expanded our field of membership to include the immediate family of members, church groups, alumni, postal workers, and other organizations. Throughout the years, FAMU Federal Credit Union has strived to meet its members' needs by increasing services. We want our members to know that member service is key to our daily operation and to the continued success of the credit union. Members are eligible for many services free-of-charge since we are a not-for-profit organization. They receive dividends for deposits and, in many instances, lower interest rates on loans.
