Parents, does your high school senior have big plans but need a little help figuring out where to start? Young adults, are you looking for your first job or wondering which career might be a good fit?

LaunchPoint’s FREE career workshops are a great place to begin! You don’t need a career plan or a polished resume to take that first step.

📅 September 8 or 9 | Interest Inventory Survey Explore careers that match your interests.

📅 September 15 or 16 | Resume Building & Job Search Learn how to put your strengths on paper and where to look for opportunities.

📅 September 22 or 23 | Interviewing Practice answering questions and walking into an interview with more confidence.

Laptops Open!

Day 3 was all about bringing ideas to life!

Our students didn't just learn about AI. They built real, working apps. They designed tools for everything from trying on new hairstyles and outfits virtually to finding scholarships and even calculating how tariff increases affect the cost of goods and services.

The best part is these ideas came directly from the students. They identified real problems, imagined solutions and used AI to start building them.

Keep an eye out... these young innovators may have an app in an app store near you sooner than you think!

Day 2: The Art of Prompt Engineering

Great prompts lead to great results.

During Day 2 workshop, students learned how to communicate effectively with AI by crafting clear, thoughtful prompts. They discovered that prompt engineering isn't just about asking questions, it's about thinking critically, solving problems, and giving AI the right direction to produce meaningful results.

A special shoutout to today's students who earned gift cards for their participation and engagement, and answering questions throughout the session!

Day 1 kicked off with an exciting introduction to the world of Artificial Intelligence!

Students explored what AI is, how it's already shaping the world around us, and why understanding this technology is becoming an essential skill for the future. From everyday examples to real-world applications, they discovered that AI is a tool that can help solve problems, spark creativity, and open doors to new opportunities.

Meet Our Summer Intern!

We're excited to welcome Zanecia Henderson to the LaunchPoint team this summer!

Zanecia is a rising high school senior with a passion for learning, leadership, and trying new things. She is an active member of Business Professionals of America (BPA), plays the cello in orchestra, and loves spending her free time skating.

Throughout the summer, Zanecia will be working alongside our team, supporting projects, connecting with the community, and gaining valuable hands-on experience.

We're excited to watch her grow and can't wait to see all she accomplishes. Be sure to give her a warm welcome! 🎉
