Day 3 was all about bringing ideas to life!

Our students didn't just learn about AI. They built real, working apps. They designed tools for everything from trying on new hairstyles and outfits virtually to finding scholarships and even calculating how tariff increases affect the cost of goods and services.

The best part is these ideas came directly from the students. They identified real problems, imagined solutions and used AI to start building them.

Keep an eye out... these young innovators may have an app in an app store near you sooner than you think!

Day 2: The Art of Prompt Engineering

Great prompts lead to great results.

During Day 2 workshop, students learned how to communicate effectively with AI by crafting clear, thoughtful prompts. They discovered that prompt engineering isn't just about asking questions, it's about thinking critically, solving problems, and giving AI the right direction to produce meaningful results.

A special shoutout to today's students who earned gift cards for their participation and engagement, and answering questions throughout the session!

Thank you again to Phusion Ai for another engaging session that's preparing our young people with real-world skills for the future.

Day 1 kicked off with an exciting introduction to the world of Artificial Intelligence!

Students explored what AI is, how it's already shaping the world around us, and why understanding this technology is becoming an essential skill for the future. From everyday examples to real-world applications, they discovered that AI is a tool that can help solve problems, spark creativity, and open doors to new opportunities.

A huge thank you to Phusion AI and Ja'Baree Allen for leading such an engaging and inspiring workshop. This is just the beginning!

Meet Our Summer Intern!

We're excited to welcome Zanecia Henderson to the LaunchPoint team this summer!

Zanecia is a rising high school senior with a passion for learning, leadership, and trying new things. She is an active member of Business Professionals of America (BPA), plays the cello in orchestra, and loves spending her free time skating.

Throughout the summer, Zanecia will be working alongside our team, supporting projects, connecting with the community, and gaining valuable hands-on experience.

We're excited to watch her grow and can't wait to see all she accomplishes. Be sure to give her a warm welcome! 🎉

Students walking in with resumes in hand…
Sitting down for interviews…
Answering questions, shaking hands…
And then walking out with job offers the same day.

Last week at the WOW Jobs Event, that was the reality.

And it just reinforces why this work matters so much.

Because moments like this don’t start at the interview. They start with preparation.

At LaunchPoint, we’re focused on helping students get ready before they ever sit in that chair. Building resumes, practicing interview skills, and giving them the confidence to walk in knowing they belong there.

If you’re a school, organization, or group working with students or young adults, let’s connect about bringing our Fall College & Career Readiness Series to you. Let’s get them ready before the opportunity shows up. ✨
