✨ What an amazing night at the Annual Legislative Reception hosted by the Big Bend Minority Chamber! 🌟 A huge shoutout to Brittany for setting everything up so beautifully—from the music to the catering by Blackberry Mimosa 🍷, owned by the incredible Yolanda Bowman! The entire experience was absolutely top-tier!

Brittany’s company, Touched by a Rose 🌹, is truly something special. Whether it’s baby birthdays, corporate events, milestones, florals, or weddings, she creates more than just events—she creates experiences! I’ve had the pleasure of attending multiple events she’s designed, and each one is unforgettable.

A big thank you to Shawn, one of the founders of the Big Bend Minority Chamber, Antonio, the President of the event, and Dana Dudley, who plays such a significant role in making the chamber what it is! Your dedication and leadership continue to make a lasting impact in our community.

Since joining us in June 2014, Abby has brought her passion for storytelling and dedication to our community to the forefront every day. Whether she’s anchoring the 5:30 and 11 p.m. news or the FOX 49 news at 10, Abby consistently delivers the news with professionalism and heart.

With her roots in Indiana and a degree from Ball State University, Abby has a rich background in journalism, including award-winning coverage on important topics like autism spectrum disorder. Her commitment to community engagement is truly inspiring, and we love that she’s involved with organizations like Autism Speaks.

When she's not in the newsroom, you can find Abby breaking a sweat in Pilates, enjoying a good book, or indulging in her guilty pleasure of reality TV. She’s also excited to dive into the local culture, catch a Florida State game, and soak up the beautiful North Florida weather!
