As a board member of the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce (NCCC), I was honored to work with President Frankie Camarano and Treasurer Gary Slavin to support business owners, Syosset Woodbury Chamber of Commerce (SWCOC) board member Ari Goldblatt with Boomer Productions Inc. , Deirdrea Renwick with Gott Management Services, Inc. and John Hassler with Tech 2020 Solutions at their technical services workshops. The NCCC, in conjunction with a grant from Nassau County Government thanks to Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman was able to provide these workshops to help local businesses at no cost. NCCC Recording Secretary Julie Marchesella along with SWCOC Vice President Tami Racaniello and members Ben Indiviglia Jann Brent and Pamela Ocasio were some of the many Nassau County based business leaders to take advantage of this opportunity. As a board member of the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce, I joined NCCC treasurer Gary Slavin in attending the introductory press conference for the Entertainment Football Association (ENTFLA) at Nassau Coliseum. Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, Comptroller Elaine Reidman Phillips , New York State Assemblyman Edward Ra and News 12 Long Island were there to support the ENTFLA along with a large contingent from the local community including Ro Prestano from ADP. The ENTFLA's entire management team starting with National Football League (NFL) Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Buffalo Bills receiver Andre Reed, Douglas Freeman, William T. Rolack, Sr. Peter Schwartz Lisa Giamo and Tommy Benizio introduced us to the new indoor football team coming to Nassau County. Information about this exciting new league can be found at goentfla.com.
