We are proud to announce Abbie Lewis, Banking Officer at Farmers & Merchants Bank, has completed her first year at the Georgia Banking School.

The Georgia Banking School is a three-year specialized school run by the Georgia Bankers Association, designed to develop the next generation of banking leaders through rigorous coursework, industry expertise, and hands-on learning.

During the course of the three-year program, participants complete an annual one-week residence session at the University of Georgia in Athens as well as home study cases between sessions. The school provides a well-balanced curriculum featuring UGA faculty members, veteran bankers and other industry experts and specialists.

This commitment to professional growth reflects Abbie’s dedication and passion to grow as a banking professional and in turn better serve our customers and community, stated Hoke Reeves, President & CEO.
