Our agency is proudly located in the Fred Gossage Sr. Arcade building, and I was proud to know Mr. Gossage (1930-2019) personally. Built in 1907, this Main Street gem was originally completely open in the center, which provided a walkway to various shops and offices. From 1913-1964 it housed the printing presses for the Sykesville herald. Also, there was a movie theater on the third floor. Today it serves as a one stop shop professional center, featuring insurance services, title, real estate, and law. Drop in and I’ll show you around!

Downtown Sykeville has many beautiful historic buildings. This one is a favorite to many. This special train station was built in 1894 and has been very well kept.

Once signed up you will be billed at sign up and then again, the 1st of every month until the subscription is paused or canceled. No obligation, cancel at any time. Plants will be ready for pick up on the 1st of every month. You can sign up at any time throughout the year. Please pick up plants within a week. �
If you are a new subscriber you will always be subscribing for the following month. For example, if you subscribe anytime in January your first pick up will be February 1st or if subscribe anytime in February, your first pick up will be March 1st. You are always subscribing for the month ahead. I stopped in to this very nice book store, located on 7566 Main Street Sykesville. I definitely recommend that you check it out! They have quite the selection.

Still on our tour of Downtown Sykesville. Be sure to check out the Local Motive. It’s a delightful spot with delicious and unique food options. Also, they have stellar craft beverages. A truly relaxing atmosphere that’s worthwhile for a stop in.
