Friendly reminder for any business owners... many companies are now required to file a Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR) with the United States Department of the Treasury/FinCEN. This must be filed by any company registered with the state (LLCs, Corporations, S-Corps) and must be filed prior to December 31, 2024 to avoid penalties. The penalty is currently $591 PER DAY. This report can be filed online in less than 10 minutes and there is no cost to file. You will need to upload a copy of each owner's driver's license. The link to file is:
