Help us send Christmas cheer to our deployed troops! 🎁

For the third year, the Tina Hurst State Farm team is collecting donations for the Chicagoland Blue Star Mothers to help fill Christmas stockings for service members stationed overseas.

This year, our collection is especially meaningful.

We are dedicating this year's drive to the memory of Tina's brother-in-law, Lieutenant Colonel Ron Jeanblanc, who lost his battle with cancer in June at just 57 years old.

Ron proudly served our country in the U.S. Army, including multiple deployments to Afghanistan, and earned numerous honors, including the Bronze Star Medal.

Behind every brave soldier is a family making sacrifices of their own. Ron's wife Kim and daughters Elizabeth and Abby endured the worry, missed moments, and long separations during his deployments. Today, they face the heartbreak of saying goodbye far too soon.

This year, we collect in Ron's honor and in gratitude for every service member and military family who has sacrificed so much. ❤️

📅 Donations will be accepted through November 6!

🎁 Items needed:

- Mints, gum, cough drops, and antacids
- Individually wrapped snacks, protein bars, and nuts
- Instant coffee and oatmeal packets
- Lip balm and breath strips
- Travel-size shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrushes

🎃 Have leftover Halloween candy? Bring it to our office to donate to the troops!

Every contribution, big or small, can bring a little joy to someone spending the holidays away from home.

When I opened the Tina Hurst State Farm Agency here in Sycamore in 2015, I had one goal: to create an agency where people felt truly taken care of. ❤️

Eleven years later, I’m proud to lead an all-women team that is strong, hardworking and deeply caring. These women show up every day for our customers and for one another.

We work hard, laugh a lot and treat every customer like family. I’m so grateful for this team and for the community that has supported us throughout the years.
