Big progress on the G2K Trail! This 3.2-mile trail has been years in the making and will provide a safe, scenic off-road connection for walking and biking between Genoa and Kingston, linking parks, forest preserves, neighborhoods, schools, and communities.

We were proud to celebrate with a ribbon cutting ceremony last week, marking an exciting milestone for this community project.

The G2K Trail has been made possible through strong community support, dedicated partners, and local student involvement, including Genoa-Kingston High School students who helped inspire the expansion and created the name “G2K Trail.”
