Together, donors gave $2,881,483 to support nonprofit organizations across DeKalb County. That number represents generosity, trust, teamwork, and a whole lot of community spirit.

This morning, DeKalb County Farm Bureau President Berk Boehne and DCFB staff visited the Malta Fire Department to present their Illinois Farm Bureau Rural Development Grant check! 🚒

Strong emergency services are essential to rural communities, and we’re grateful for the dedicated individuals who work to keep our area safe each and every day.

The Illinois Farm Bureau Rural Development Grant Program helps support projects that make a lasting impact in communities across the state, and we’re proud to see these funds invested locally.

TEACHERS – It's not too late to sign up for our 2026 Summer Ag Institute!

This year’s theme, “Drones, Robots, and AI, Oh My! Exploring Today’s Ag Technology,” will take educators behind the scenes of modern agriculture through hands-on experiences, tours, demonstrations, and workshops.

Participants will explore:
🌿 A 1-million sq. ft. greenhouse with robotic planting technology
🐄 A veterinary clinic with a cattle IVF lab
🚜 Equipment that practically drives itself
