This is a special post to my friends in their 50’s…it’s time to start thinking about long term care, especially while you are still generally healthy, and even if you have children. I have two daughters, with one saying she would always take care of me. I’m grateful, but there are no guarantees. If you have property/assets that you would like to preserve as a legacy, then LTC is a must. If you are at the extremes of either rich or poor, LTC will not be an issue for you. Everyone else should be thinking about what will happen when you can no longer execute the activities of daily living.
