Petco Love’s Data Saves Lives Grant application cycle is open!
Availability: August 1, 2021 - December 31, 2021

This application is available to nonprofit and municipal animal sheltering and adoption organizations who primarily care for dogs or cats with annual intake of 800 or more animals.

This grant is intended for under-resourced animal sheltering and adoption organizations for which lack of funding is a barrier to adoption of sophisticated shelter software that tracks animal data and easily shares information among lifesaving organizations.

Maddie's Fund is thrilled to announce the next grant opportunity, the Open Arms Challenge! Funded by Maddie’s Fund and Michelson Found Animals Foundation, and in collaboration with 13 national organizations, they think this may be the most important Challenge yet!

And there’s $200,000 in grant prizes available!

The Challenge will begin November 22, 2021 and end January 3, 2022. We’re encouraging animal shelters and rescue organizations to pilot new approaches that open doors to new adopters and volunteers, and that welcome your entire community.
The goal of this Challenge is to increase inclusivity and provide a welcoming environment for all community members. What that looks like is different for every organization. It can be as simple as providing literature in multiple languages or returning voicemails in a timely manner to completely redoing the adoption application, undertaking bias training or focusing on neighborhoods where adoption events were not previously held. The possibilities are endless.

Registration begins on August 23.
