Most financial advice for children stops at the savings jar.
Saving is a good habit. It is also a defensive one. A child who only learns to save becomes an adult who protects money without ever learning how money grows.
Ownership is the other half of the lesson, and it rarely gets taught. The surprising part is that it does not require a course or a complicated allowance system. It requires letting a child watch one real decision get made.
The families building real capital are discussing assets at the kitchen table years before anyone inherits anything.
