If you’re looking for the perfect (and easy) summer dessert, look no further than this delectable “cheat” key lime pie recipe from Taste of Home:

✅ 1/4 cup of boiling water
✅ A packet of lime gelatin
✅ 12 oz of key lime yogurt
✅ 8 oz of whipped topping
✅ A 9-inch graham cracker pie crust

In a bowl, pour the boiling water over the gelatin and stir until the powder is dissolved. Mix in the yogurt and then fold in the whipped topping. Pour it into the crust, cover, refrigerate for two hours – and you’re done!

As temperatures heat up, so do some types of insurance claims. Keep reading to find out the most common accidents we see during the summer and a bit of guidance on how to prevent them.

🔥 Outdoor fires - Bonfires, cookouts, and grilling are fun but can put you at risk for fire. Never leave a fire unattended, and keep fires at least 10 to 25 feet away from flammable structures/surfaces.

🏊 Pool Accidents - Splishing and splashing come with a lot of dangers. Fencing in your pool, jumping safely, and never leaving children unattended help prevent accidents.

🚗 Car Accidents - Road safety is essential during summer vacations and road trips. Practice defensive driving, and complete a maintenance check-up on your car before hitting the road.

💸 Home Burglaries - With more people away from home on vacation, home burglaries and thefts can be higher. Installing a security alarm system and motion detection lights and having your neighbors collect your mail can all help prevent home burglaries.

Spring has sprung – and with it comes its own set of maintenance to-dos 🌼 ✔️

To help you out, we’re sharing some of the common spring insurance claims and the upkeep you can do to prevent them:

💧 Water Damage - Winter can put a lot of stress on your home, causing leaks and caulk cracks. Caulking is easy and affordable as a method of prevention.

🔌 Electrical Damage - Mice often seek warmth in homes during the winter and can chew right through wires. Have an electrician inspect your home’s wiring annually.

🏠 Roof and Siding Damage - Harsh winters can cause damage to your roof and siding. Check for anything that needs repairing in the spring and make small fixes to prevent further damage.

🔥 Fires - Exposed wires, dryer hoses, and vents can be fire risks all year round. As it starts to warm up, make sure to check and clean those out.
