Need a more convenient way to refill medications you take regularly?

Some Medicare Part D plans offer mail-order pharmacy services, allowing you to have covered prescriptions delivered directly to your home. Depending on your plan, you may even be able to receive up to a 2- or 3-month supply at a time.

Mail order can be convenient, and in some cases, it may save you money, but prices and pharmacy rules vary by plan.

Before switching, check:

✔️ Whether your medications are covered
✔️ Whether the mail-order pharmacy is in your plan’s network
✔️ Your copay or coinsurance
✔️ Delivery and refill requirements

This month, we honor those who have faced breast cancer, celebrate survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand alongside the families and loved ones who have supported them.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is also an important reminder to stay proactive about your health. Routine screenings and conversations with your healthcare provider can play an important role in early detection.

Take care of yourself, encourage the women you love to do the same, and help us spread awareness this October. 💗

Today is a good reminder to check in with yourself and the people you care about. And remember, mental health deserves a place in your healthcare conversations, too.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of educating 61 seniors—and last week, another 43—about Medicare, healthcare options and the importance of having a knowledgeable advocate in their corner.

Planning a trip? ✈️ Before you pack your bags, make sure you know how your Medicare coverage travels with you.

If you have Original Medicare, you can generally receive covered care anywhere in the U.S. from a doctor or hospital that accepts Medicare.

If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, things can work differently. Your plan may have a specific provider network or service area for non-emergency care, so it’s a good idea to check your plan before traveling.

Traveling outside the United States? Medicare coverage is much more limited, although some Medicare Advantage or Medigap plans may offer additional travel benefits.

A little planning before your trip can help prevent unexpected healthcare costs while you’re away.
