Look, I know Carol Baskin probably started this but PLEASE do not listen to the false narrative being provided by the MEDIA that mortgage payments do not have to be made for the next 3 months.
- If you still have your job MAKE your payment.
- If you lost your job and have money in the bank MAKE your payment.
- If you lost your job and can't find a way to make your payment then and ONLY then contact your mortgage servicer about your forbearance options.
If enough people that can pay DON'T pay we will be facing a housing crisis and we will lose the equity that many of us have in our homes.Yes I just combined a mortgage post and the Tiger King. Quarantine does some crazy things to you...
