We’re excited to congratulate the Leadership Sumter Class of 2025–2026, a 9-month program created by the Sumter Chamber of Commerce to bring community members together to learn, lead, and network. SAFE Federal Credit Union is especially proud to have had two employees, Mekeisha Gibbons and Rob Tillman, take part in this transformative experience. Over the course of the program, they built strong connections, expanded their knowledge of Sumter, and honed leadership skills that will benefit our community for years to come. Columbia, you showed up in a big way! Big thanks to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for volunteering their time! Together, we shredded over 7,600 pounds of documents, raised nearly $1,300, and gathered a mountain of to-go snacks and meals for Richland School District 2’s backpack program. A special thank you to Richland School District 2’s staff for making this event so smooth for everyone who attended!
