Kicking off summer with a free family event!!!

🚨 The countdown is back on! 🚨

Our Kids Safety Expo is officially happening on Saturday, May 30th and we are SO excited to bring this event to the community! 🎉

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to make this an awesome day for families — with hands-on safety activities, community partners, emergency response vehicles, giveaways, and some really fun surprises for the kids. 🚑🚒🚁

Since graduation season is here, okay settle a debate my husband and I are having 😂

What did y’all do for 8th grade graduation?

Were you:
🎓 “I honestly don’t even remember it”
OR
📸 Professional photo shoot, big party, decorations, gifts, the whole thing

I feel like there’s no in between and apparently we grew up VERY differently 😂

Our daughter is graduating 8th grade this year and we have very different ideas on how big of a deal this should be, so now I need opinions 😂

Also while we’re talking graduation season — friendly insurance reminder from me 😅 If you have kids heading off to college soon, don’t forget to look into renters insurance for dorms/apartments. Most people don’t realize how much stuff adds up until something happens!

🚨 Important Update 🚨

We are sad to announce that due to the weather, we will be postponing our Kids Safety Expo. As much as we were looking forward to seeing everyone, this event is all about safety—and we want to make sure we’re keeping our families, kids, and partners safe above all else.

The good news? This gives us a little extra time, and we may be adding some additional surprises 👀 So stay tuned and keep an eye out for updates as we get closer!

Alright friends… you already know I’ve been working on something special for our community 💙

I just wanted to hop back on and say how excited I am to keep this going—this **FREE Kids Safety Expo** has truly been a labor of love for a neighborhood that means so much to me. I’ve put a lot of heart into making this an event where families can come together, have fun, and learn how to keep their kids safe.

I definitely couldn’t have done this alone—huge thank you to some amazing partners who jumped in to help make this happen: Cane Bay YMCA, Safe Kids Charleston, MUSC Children’s Health, Korey Banks at Edward Jones, and Central Berkeley Fire & EMS. This event is truly a community effort!

We’ve got some great things planned, and I promise it’s going to be worth coming out for!

And… 👀 we’re still keeping one BIG surprise under wraps 🚁
We’ll be announcing it next week, and trust me—you’re not going to want to miss it!
