Do you know what type of coverage you have? It is shocking the amount of people looking for a comparable quote, who think they have full Replacement Cost (RC), and they have (ACV), Actual Cash Value. These terms describe how your home and contents will be repaired or replaced in the case of a loss. RC, represents the ability to completely replace the loss in today’s market, no matter the age of the dwelling or contents. ACV is how things are replaced based on the age and condition of the dwelling and contents and is a portion of their cost, based on depreciation.
They also don’t realize their deductibles are really high and that is what makes the premium so affordable. The 2 deductibles in a Home policy are All Perils and Wind and Hail. Wind and Hail is only for the roof. The deductibles represent the portion you will not receive from your Insurance company when repairing or replacing your home.
Insurance rates are high in our state, which I can not control, but I can help you understand what you are getting when you purchase a policy with me. Everyone loves surprises, but not when you experience a loss and realize you do not have the coverage you thought you did, not a good surprise.
Quotes are free and they do not affect your credit.
