🏈🧡 What a kickoff!

Last Saturday, First Community and Sam Houston State University officially launched our partnership in grand style at Elliott T. Bowers Stadium as the Bearkats christened their newly renovated home in an exciting matchup against Tulsa.

The energy was electric as students, alumni, and fans came together to celebrate a new era for Bearkat Athletics, and we were proud to be right in the middle of it all!

We're back tomorrow as the Bearkats take on Nicholls State, and we can't wait to see everyone again. Stop by the First Community booth for cool swag, ice-cold water, and a chance to spin the wheel for prizes and cash. 🎉💰

Sam Houston Athletics and First Community Credit Union have announced a new 10-year partnership designed to support Bearkat Athletics and create opportunities for students and the broader university community.
The partnership tabs FCCU as the “Official Financial Partner” for SHSU Athletics and will expand sponsorship support for Bearkat Athletics, while creating new opportunities for financial education, career engagement and community connection across SHSU Athletics.
