Friday night football is all about community. 🏈

Last Friday was Sturgis Bank Night at the Sturgis home opener, and a group of our employees volunteered their time at the concession stand to help support the evening.

We’re pleased to support Sturgis Public Schools and Sturgis Trojans Athletics , and we’re thankful for employees who continue to show up, lend a hand, and give back to our hometown community.

🌳 Meet our very first Acorn Award recipient: Logan Cleveland!

Logan, an employee at our Colon Banking Center, was recently nominated for consistently going above and beyond for both customers and coworkers.

When a customer recently came in shaken by a fraud situation, Logan stepped in, helped gather the information needed, coordinated with our Fraud Department, and made sure the customer left feeling supported and taken care of.

In another instance, Logan made time to help a coworker at our Centreville Banking Center work through an unfamiliar IRA process. He didn’t just answer a question — he walked through the process, shared his knowledge, and helped another employee grow.

The Acorn Award was created to recognize employees who make that kind of lasting, positive difference.

At Sturgis Bank, we believe great work deserves to be recognized. We want our employees to know their efforts matter, their contributions are valued, and the difference they make is noticed.

Last week, our Calhoun County team helped at the registration area for the small and large animal auctions. It was great to see so many families come together and watch local kids showcase the hard work they’ve put into raising and showing their animals.

A group from our Sturgis team recently spent time volunteering with Lagrange County FMSC at the The Michiana Event Center "The MEC" ❤️

Together, they helped pack nutritious meals that will be distributed to children facing hunger around the world.

Giving our time to help others is one of the ways we live out our commitment to service — both here at home and beyond our local communities. Thank you to our employees who rolled up their sleeves and helped make a meaningful difference!
