Quick awareness note. There seems to be an uptick in the area of door knocking by folks to “inspect” your roof and the “way they do it” you won’t have to pay anything your insurance company will. If you think your roof has an issue, please talk to your insurance company before you let someone else file a claim on your behalf. If your roof is damaged from something covered by insurance, by all means let your carrier handle it. If you are just buying a new roof that is different, but if a third party is telling you someone else is going to pay, you might want to check with them first. There are also a lot of reputable local roofers that are here and will be here and not just chasing storms. I have seen fairness and honesty through the process.
