Please join us in wishing Wendy Brokaw a very happy and well-deserved retirement! Since she started in March 2019 Wendy has gotten to know many of our customers and will miss seeing them, but she is looking forward to spending more time with her family and catching up with old friends over lunch. There will be an open house at the main branch in Stronghurst Friday, July 3 at 1pm-3pm.

We are excited to welcome some new faces to the team! Renee and Sydnee will be with us for the summer, be sure to come in and say hi.

Renee will be starting her second year at WIU as a music performance major playing the oboe and hopes to perform and teach music.
Sydnee just graduated both high school and SCC and will be starting at Central College in the fall as a double major in Accounting and Business. She hopes to gain experience at the bank to help start working in forensic accounting.

On Friday, June 5th, the 9th Banking On A Cure golf outing will take place at Gibson Woods in Monmouth with registration beginning at noon and a shotgun start at 1 pm. Jay Grant shares those involved, how proceeds benefit locally, and how to register:
“Every bank in Warren and Henderson County is involved. We have Midwest Bank, Fortress Bank, Security Savings Bank, Community National Bank, Bank of Stronghurst, Raritan State Bank, Clocktower Community Bank, and CBI Bank & Trust,” says Grant.
“Everything goes to the Warren and Henderson County Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. All that money goes to help people get to treatments or cancer research, all those types of things. It is a great cause to be involved in,” Grant adds.
“The best way to sign up, we have a website where you can actually register online. Go to www.birdease.com/bankingonacure,” reports Grant.
Over the past eight Banking On A Cure golf outings, $84,500 has been raised to support Relay for Life of Warren and Henderson Counties.
