Started our week off with a 4th of July trip to Tri-City Speedway with the Summer Nationals. Qualified P10 in our group, went P5 to P3 in heat. Started P12 and ended up P10.
Thursday- We hit the road again and headed down to Macon Speedway with a 42 car field. Had a really fast car around the bullring qualifying P2 in our group, started on the pole of heat 2 and got stuck on the bottom for a few laps, ended up 2nd. Rolled off P7 for the feature and drove to P5. Overall a great night at Macon Speedway.
Friday- Farmer City Raceway Summer Nats with 47 entries on tab. Qualified P9 in our group putting us P3 for our heat and after holding our ground we ended up P2. Rolled off P12 for the feature, fell back early in the race and drove back to end the night P12.
Saturday- Fairbury American Legion Speedway for a stout 56 car field. Track was super heavy with all of the rain over night. Qualified P18 in our group and just couldn’t find our way the whole night. Ended up trying to battle through a B Main and just wasn’t our night.
Our plans for this upcoming weekend are still in the works, we will make a decision soon.
