🕊️ Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day

Today, we hold space for the babies who were here for a moment, the babies who were longed for, the babies whose lives were far too brief, and the babies who will forever be a part of their families’ stories.

We remember the babies lost during pregnancy, at birth, and in infancy. We remember the parents who carry their love and their grief, the dreams that changed, and the empty arms that still hold so much love.

At Linden Tree Midwifery, we honor every baby, every family, and every story. We know that no matter how long a baby was here, their life mattered. Their name matters. Their place in your family matters. 🤍

✨ If you feel comfortable, we invite you to share the name of the baby you are remembering today in the comments. ✨

Let this be a space where their names can be spoken, their lives honored, and their memories held with tenderness. You are welcome to share a name, a heart, a few words, or simply be here in remembrance. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and no one needs to share more than they wish.

To every parent remembering a baby today: your baby is loved, your grief is seen, and you do not have to carry it alone.

We remember them. We speak their names. We hold them in love. Always. 🤍🕯️

With love and remembrance,
Linden Tree Midwifery

🌿 Happy National Midwifery Week! 🌿

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible midwives who walk alongside families through some of life’s most transformative moments. 💛

Midwives offer more than clinical care — they listen, educate, advocate, encourage, and hold space for families with compassion and trust. We’re so grateful for the midwives who have poured their hearts into caring for others and for the families who invite us into such a sacred part of their journey.

Do you have a midwife who has made a difference in your life?
Tell us about them in the comments! 💬

Share a memory, a thank-you, or simply tag a midwife you appreciate so they can feel the love this week. 🌿

To all the midwives out there: thank you for the work you do, the wisdom you share, and the countless lives you touch. Happy National Midwifery Week! 💚

🌿 Midwifery is my jam. 🫙✨

But what does that really mean?

It means filling the journey to birth with support, evidence, collaboration, education, consent, respect, inclusion, and joy. 💛

At Linden Tree Midwifery, I believe you deserve to feel heard, informed, respected, and empowered throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.

Because your care shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. You deserve care that centers YOU. 🌿

Here’s to informed choices, meaningful conversations, and a little more joy along the way. 💕

☕️ HAPPY NATIONAL COFFEE DAY ☕️

Behind every calm midwife is a cup of coffee.
Behind every calm midwife at 3 AM is a stronger cup of coffee. 😂

Midwives can catch babies, support families, navigate contractions, and somehow function on very little sleep…

…but without coffee?
Let’s not test that theory. ☕️😅

Today, we honor the magical little bean that helps midwives keep showing up, staying awake, and catching babies with a smile.

Cheers to coffee — the unofficial fuel of midwifery. 🤎☕️

“How do I know when it’s time to head to the birth center?”

One of the biggest differences between planning a birth center birth and a hospital birth is that you don’t have to figure it out alone. 🤍

At Linden Tree Midwifery, you’re in direct communication with your midwife throughout labor. When things begin to change, you call us. We talk through what you’re feeling, how labor is progressing, and what’s happening with you and your baby. Together, we decide when it makes sense for you to come in.

You don’t have to watch the clock and wonder, “Is this it? Should I leave now? Am I too early?”

Instead, you have a midwife who knows you, knows your pregnancy, and can help you navigate each step.

For many families, that ongoing communication feels very different from the traditional hospital model, where you typically arrive at the hospital and are then evaluated by the labor and delivery team.

Birth center care is built around connection, communication, and individualized guidance.

So when labor begins, remember: you don’t have to know exactly when to go. That’s what your midwife is there for. 💛

Questions about what labor might look like at Linden Tree? We’d love to talk with you.
