Amy, BVC AITC educator, is seeking donations of textured fabric - corduroy, fuzzy fleece, raised pattern cotton and anything with a unique feel. These pieces will become part of a new interactive quilt that will travel to classrooms and community events for a "carpet farming" play area. Children can pretend plant seeds, trace tractor paths with their fingers and explore different crops & soils through touch.

If you have materials you’d like to contribute, please contact Amy at [email protected] or drop them off at the Farm Bureau office in Storm Lake located at 1707 N Lake Ave. Together, we can build a learning space that welcomes every child to explore agriculture with their hands, hearts, and imagination.
