You’re Invited: Farmers Market Career Day!
AT: Stigler Farmers Market

The Stigler Farmers Market is excited to host a Career Day for Kids and we would love for you to be part of it!

Our goal is simple: to give local children the chance to meet people in different careers, ask questions, learn new skills, and see that there are endless opportunities right here in our own community.

We are inviting local businesses, organizations, and professionals to set up a booth and share what you do!

Booth ideas can include:

Hands-on activities
Equipment or tools to show
Career demonstrations
Pictures, displays, or giveaways
Fun activities for kids

Whether you are a farmer, firefighter, nurse, mechanic, business owner, artist, tradesperson, or work in a career kids may have never heard of, we want you there!

This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage the next generation, highlight local careers, and show our community’s kids the many paths they can take as they grow.

Saturday, 8/15/26 8am-Noon

Booth Space is FREE for all volunteers, we simply ask that you bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to inspire young minds!

I have offically started my maternity leave and will return in September!

This Sunday, come support the Haskell County fairgrounds. There will be a pork sandwich dinner and pie auction at the Stigler VFW.

Any FFA member interested in helping with the event, let Mr. Dawson know. FFA members this will count towards community service project hours.

Space is filling up fast for our 2026 FFA Communication Conference, which will be held Monday, July 13 in Edmond! This electrifying, one-day conference helps FFA members learn how they can share the FFA story throughout the upcoming school year along with the importance of communicating our story as advocates for agriculture. Registration details and instructions have been emailed to agricultural education instructors around the state, who can register students online. We hope to see your chapter in Edmond this July at our FFA Communications Conference!
