It’s been heartbreaking to say the least watching this genocide unfold in Gaza and our leaders not only turning a blind eye but actively condoning it. As if the non stop images of dead children and entire families being wiped out wasn’t enough, we are being gaslighted by Western Media who rationalize the dehumanization and ongoing mass murder of an entire population. People are openly call for Genocide as if we aren’t talking about human beings. In fact many in the Israeli government openly refer to Palestinians as less than animals. They have no qualms about hiding their genocidal rhetoric. Have we not learned anything from the last 100 years? The Palestinians have been refugees in their own land for over 75 years and for the last 16 years Gaza has been transformed into the largest open air prison, oppressing 2.2 million Palestinians. More than half children. The Israeli army and Israeli settlers have been killing Palestinians continuously with impunity for decades, stealing their land, homes, livelihoods, lives and subjugating them to the most brutal and humiliating occupation the modern world has ever witnessed. People in the western world are having to defy their governments to protest this genocide and are called anti-semites for simply wanting a humanitarian ceasefire. Israel dropped more bombs in 6 days in Gaza, the most densely populated city in the world, than the US dropped in Afghanistan in a year. This is not a war, this is an extermination and god help us if we let it continue.
