Those lessons continued during my teen years as I learned to manage my own earnings, file my taxes, and understand the importance of saving early for retirement. Financial literacy became a lifelong passion, inspiring me to continue my financial education so I could help others plan for their futures and achieve their dreams. I am proud to be a Lancaster County native. Growing up in this area taught me the value of strong community relationships and serving others. After graduating from Conestoga Valley High School in 2000, I earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Virginia Tech in 2004 and returned to Lancaster County. I spent the next 18 years as a high school mathematics teacher and earned my master's degree from Millersville University in 2011. Throughout my teaching career, I saw firsthand the need for greater financial education. Today, as a financial advisor with Edward Jones, I combine my passion for education with personalized financial guidance. During my tenure with the firm, I have had the privilege of helping business owners, individuals, and families work toward goals such as preparing for retirement, saving for education, managing life's transitions and building financial confidence.
