📢 We’re Hiring: Processing Technician (Full-Time, Permanent)
📍 Location: Downtown Stevens Point
🕘 Schedule: Monday–Friday
💲 Compensation: $19/hour
Join our team as an A-Processing Technician! This position provides data entry, administrative tasks, and accounting support. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and results-driven.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Policy Administration:
• Input and update account information accurately, ensuring consistency across systems.
• Regularly assess account data for errors and take corrective action as needed.
Invoicing & Account Reconciliation:
• Accept and process payments received by phone, online, mail or internally.
• Manage invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
• Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and address issues promptly.
Communication and Customer Service:
• Communicate regularly and effectively with internal departments, agents, insureds and carriers to gather necessary information.
• Utilize email and other communication channels to request clarification or further details as needed.
Documentation & Recordkeeping:
• Maintain accurate documentation of account files, ensuring all updates and changes are well-documented.
• Follow best practices for recordkeeping to ensure audit trails and easy retrieval of information.
🧩 Key Skills & Qualities:
• Insurance Experience (Preferred Not Required): Prior experience in the insurance industry is a plus, providing familiarity with industry-specific processes and terminology.
• Attention to Detail: High proficiency in reviewing and identifying discrepancies in reports.
• Organization & Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple accounts and tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Above Average Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of identifying issues, analyzing situations, and researching appropriate solutions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office tools to manage data, reports, and correspondence.
